Typing

Typing is the process of inputting text into a device, such as atypewritercell phonecomputer, or a calculator, by pressing keys on akeyboard. It can be distinguished from other means of input, such as the use of pointing devices like the computer mouse, and text input via speech recognition.

The center of all that we do on a standard keyboard is the row of keys starting with the letter "a" and ending with the apostrophe. This row forms the center of the three rows of letters, and the keys in this row are known as the "home keys".

some of us is using their 2 fingers in typing, using our 2 fingers in typing is wrong. it should be our 10 fingers....

The Proper Position

Whenever you type, place your forefingers on F and J. These keys are marked by little bars or small dents on most keyboards (red dots in figure below). The other fingers go on the keys on the left resp. right. After some time, your fingers will seek this position themselves. The thumb (choose one) is responsible for operating the space bar.
